
Formed in December 2005, The New York Coalition for Quality Assisted Living (NYCQAL) is a not-for-profit corporation organized to advocate for the continued viability of adult care, assisted living and other facilities, and to protect and improve the health, safety and quality of life for all residents.
NYCQAL members provide care to more than 5,000 individuals, and serve as the safety net for many indigent persons with multiple physical and mental disabilities, who would not otherwise have a place to call home.
NYCQAL is committed to assisting our members deliver high quality care by providing effective member advocacy and representation, continuing education and training.
In doing so, we believe that the value of our members will be recognized not only by policymakers, but, most importantly, by those we serve.
